# Default Billing Connectors

1. On the Billing Connector main screen, in the "**Default Billing Connectors**" tab:

2. The system allows you to add a new Billing connector by clicking on the "**Add Connector**" option:

3. The screen for registering new Connectors will be displayed, where you will need to enter the following information:

* **Type**: The system will come with the **Default** option selected.
* **Cloud Provider**: Select the data source that we will connect to the platform, which can be a Cloud provider or a partner service of the provider.&#x20;

#### For the **DEFAULT** connector type, Pier Cloud offers some billing options to connect the platform, including:

**AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM, On Premise, Datadog, Elastic Cloud, Kubecost e MongoDB Atlas**

Depending on the selected Cloud provider, the following fields may vary:

**When selecting the AWS provider, you will be asked for the following information:**

* **Billing Connector Identification**: Enter the name that identifies the billing connector
* **AWS Account ID**: Account identification number that contains your AWS Billing information
* **Data source for daily query:**
  * Name of the s3 Bucket that contains the Billing data information
  * Path containing billing data: Enter the Path containing the billing data within the AWS s3 bucket
  * Enter the AWS CUR version: Select the CUR version being used, which can be:
    * CUR 1.0
    * CUR 2.0
  * File type in bucket: Enter the type of file stored in the s3 bucket.

**When selecting the Azure provider, you will be asked for the following information:**

* **Billing Connector Identification**: Enter the name that identifies the billing connector
* **Select the secret for this billing connector**: We will use this secret to connect with the Azure environment and view the Billing data
* **Type of Billing**: Select the type of charge made (EA, MOSP, MCA or CSP)
* **Region**: Select Azure region (Default or China)

**When selecting the GCP provider, you will be asked for the following information:**

* **Billing Connector Identification**: Enter the name that identifies the billing connector
* **Select the secret for this billing connector**: We will use this secret to connect with the GCP environment and view Billing data
* **GCP Account ID**: Account identification number that contains Billing information in GCP.
* **Origin of information in GCP BigQuery**
  * **GCP Project ID**: Inform the Project that we can find Billing information in BigQuery
  * **Region**: Enter the region where we can find Billing information
  * **BigQuery dataset name**: Enter the name of the dataset where we can find Billing information in BigQuery
* **BigQuery result destination in CloudStorage**
  * **GCP Project ID**: Inform the Project that the BigQuery results will be directed to CloudStorage
  * **Region**: Enter the region where we can find Billing information
  * **BigQuery dataset name**: Enter the name of the dataset where we can find Billing information in BigQuery
  * **Bucket name in CloudStorage**: Enter the name of the bucket where we can find the information generated by BigQuery in CloudStorage

**When selecting the OCI provider, you will be asked for the following information:**

* **Billing Connector Identification**: Enter the name that identifies the billing connector
* **Select the secret for this billing connector**: We will use this secret to connect with the OCI environment and view the Billing data

**When selecting the IBM provider, you will be asked for the following information:**

* **Billing Connector Identification**: Enter the name that identifies the billing connector
* **Select the secret for this billing connector**: We will use this secret to connect with the IBM environment and view the Billing data

For providers: **On Premise, Dadadog, Elastic Cloud, Kubecost and MongoDB Atlas,** the system will request the following information:

* **Billing Connector Identification**: Enter the name that identifies the billing connector

To connect to **AWS** billing, we need the **Pier247 IAM Role** to be installed in your AWS account. For other Cloud providers (**Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM**) we need credentials with access to the respective provider's data. If you need help, contact the Pier Cloud team.

4. Finally, after filling in all the requested information, clicking on the **Save** button, the system will return to the Billing Connector main screen, where it will be possible to view the connected Billing.
