# Connector Sharing

### **What is Connector Sharing?**

Connector Sharing is the feature that allows the Organization (parent entity) to make its Data Connectors available for use by Organizational Units.

This means that:

* The Organization configures the Data Connector (cloud integration).
* The Organization shares the connector.
* The Organizational Units consume the connector to apply Split rules.
* The shared Data Connector is the basic prerequisite for any Organizational Unit to configure a Split.

1. Define how this connector will be identified within the Organizational Unit.

It is recommended to use a name that makes it easy for the unit's users to identify.\
Example: If the organization's connector is named 'AWS Master Payer', you can name it 'AWS Corporate' in the unit or keep the same name.

2. Existing Connector (Source)\
Select which Organization Data Connector will serve as the data source.

The list displays only connectors that are already configured and active in the Organization. By selecting one, you link the unit to this specific data source."
