# Partners

### Overview

The Partners module is the platform's top-level structure, used to group and manage multiple Organizations.

Its primary function is to establish a hierarchical link, allowing you to quickly identify whether an Organization is a direct client or belongs to a reseller/MSP portfolio.

## Link Identification

This module identifies the client's "lineage". By accessing the Partners area, you can:

* **Validate Origin**: Confirm whether a specific Organization is financially and operationally accountable to an MSP or if it is independent.
* This is fundamental for differentiating clients with a direct contract with Pier Cloud from those managed and billed through a Partner.
