# FOCUS for GCP
## Focus Configuration Process for GCP Provider
#### Welcome to Pier Cloud!
Pier Cloud is our centralized platform for managing cloud data and services. Our focus is to ensure that access to resources is secure, convenient, and efficient. This document is designed to guide you through configuring Focus on the GCP provider.
Below, you will find a detailed process that explains each step clearly and objectively.
### In the GCP environment
1. To configure Focus on GCP, the customer can use the same information used in the billing configuration, only needing to activate the pricing table.
In the GCP console, click on the menu on the left and select Invoicing (Billing), as illustrated in the image below.
2. Here click on **Billing export**, as illustrated in the image below.
3. In this case the Price table is already activated, but if it is deactivated, just activate it.
**Note**: Click **EDIT SETTINGS** to view the configuration screen.
4. Here in the **Projects** field, select the project, in the **Dataset** field, select the Dataset created, as illustrated in the image below.
Note: In this case, we will use the same dataset created for billing, but if you do not have a dataset created, just click on **CREATE NEW DATASET** to create a new dataset.
5. Here in the **Service Account** field, select **bigquery**, then click **SAVE**, as illustrated in the image below.
6. Done, the Price table has been successfully **activated (changed)**! As illustrated in the image below.
### On the Pier Cloud Platform
1. On the Platform home page, click on the user icon and then select **Settings** as shown in the image below:
2. In the left menu, select **Billing Connectors.**
3. In this step, click on **+ Add Connector** in the top right menu as shown in the image below.
4. In this step, in the **Type** option, select **FOCUS**, in the **Cloud Provider** field, select **GCP (Google Cloud Platform),** as illustrated in the image below.
5. In this step, fill in the fields with the following information:
* **Billing Connector ID**: Enter a name to identify the billing connector (example: GCP Pier Focus).
* **Select the secret for this billing connector**: Add the billing secret. If the customer created a specific secret for Focus, select the secret created (example: gcptest).
* **GCP Account ID**: Enter the GCP account ID.
* **GCP Project ID**: Enter the project ID (example: Focustest).
* **Region**: Enter the region where the project was created.
* **BigQuery Dataset Name**: Enter the name of the dataset created (example: test).
* **Cloud Storage Bucket Name**: Enter the name of the bucket configured for the project (example: piercloud-aijeeng5).
**Note**: The settings in the image below are the same as those used in billing, with the only addition being the activation of the price table, as shown in steps 4 to 9.
6. The Billing Connector for Focus has been successfully created! To view it, click on the "**FOCUS**" tab, as shown in the image below.
