Autofix: General Overview
Autofixes is a feature that executes automated corrections on AWS resources identified as issues by the CCA (PierCloud’s compliance system). When the CCA finds an idle, misconfigured, or optimizable resource, you can activate Autofix so that the correction is done automatically, without the need for manual access to your account.
How does Autofix work?
The CCA identifies a problem in a resource in your AWS account
You activate the Autofix option for that problem in the CCA
The system executes the correction automatically in your account
You follow the result in the action history
What is the execution frequency?
The system checks and processes issues with Autofix activated within 24 hours after the problem is detected. Or based on the frequency configuration defined in the CCA for each type of rule and account.
How to get to AWS Autofix:
Select the Organization
In the upper right corner select the provider (context) and billing;
In the right corner, select the Autofix product.
