Licenses
When selecting the “Licenses” resource type, the system will request the following additional information:
Properties
Contract: Select the contract option related to the license.
Description: Enter a brief description of the resource being registered.
Acquisition type: Specify how the resource was acquired—purchase, lease, or colocation.
Will this resource replace another one? Select Yes or No.
Financial Information
Resource value: Enter the value corresponding to the license being registered.
Unit cost/month: Not applicable.
Start date: Enter the start date of the license’s validity period.
End date: Enter the end date of the license’s validity period.
Quantity: Enter the number of units for the license being registered.
Monthly depreciation: The monthly depreciation percentage will be filled in automatically.
Technical Information
User: Enter the user associated with the license.
Finally, by clicking the Save button, the system will store the registered resource in the Data Center and return to the main resources screen.
